A Fresh Bag of Popcorn for Spotify

Hey, I'm Chris.

I'm a former Analyst, Podcaster, and Producer. My goal is to help you understand your finances better in about the time it takes to make a bag of popcorn!

There have been a few moments since I started this podcast that I will always remember.

Apple Knows My Name

The day the podcast first appeared in the Apple Podcast app & iTunes was the first day this all felt real.  You know you do all of this planning & preparation, but until I saw my logo among all of the other podcasts that I listen to, it was hard to imagine this podcast actually starting.  But when I saw the show on the screen I knew that this was what I wanted to do.

Interviewing My First Guest

After recording my first few real episodes, I knew that my next move should be to interview a guest.  All my favorite podcasts had interviews, so it felt like I should as well.  I reached out to Jamila from JourneytoLaunch.com and to my surprise she agreed to come on the show.  Jamila was on episode 004, and despite being the most nervous I have ever been, I had a ton of fun speaking with her and gained a great friend in the process.  Jamila has been instrumental in my progress and I can’t thank her enough.

5 Stars

For many weeks my podcast sat sadly on the Apple Podcast app waiting for its first review.  One day I just happened to be checking the app (I only checked a few times every hour) and noticed that I had a review at the bottom of the page.  It was such a gratifying moment.  I still get that feeling when I see a new review pop up.  Don’t believe me?  Leave me a review and I’ll prove it.

Spotify is on the List

Listen to Popcorn Finance on SpotifyWhen I heard that Spotify was adding podcasts to their app, seeing the Popcorn Finance logo next to some of my favorite albums became my new goal.  I’m now happy to be able to include being added to Spotify to my list of memorable moments.  If you live in the Spotify world you can click here or search for Popcorn Finance in the app.
